about
hello there, dear traveler.
I like to make and think about art things.
Here, you can see various things I’ve made, as well as read some of my thoughts. I see this space as somewhere to put all my work in one place, as well as share a couple bits of writing here and there – something of a mix between a portfolio and a blog, I suppose.
I created this site to have control over how my work is presented, unlike how Instagram forces everything to be square pictures or how Tiktok prefers short videos. These platforms change so frequently that it makes me feel powerless. Rules and regulations could change and immediately jeopardize one’s work.
I believe art and design are everywhere, and I try to make an effort to appreciate it wherever it is found - whether it is a cleverly designed pen or a single shot in a hollywood film.
This site is named “rainy days” because I like when it rains. Streets reflect the traffic lights. The air smells alive. I get to use my umbrella.
Thank you for taking your time to look around here. I appreciate it.
